GSE National 2024-2025: Exciting new structure for this upcoming year!

Based on what we have learned and feedback we have gathered we are making some adjustments to the structure of the GSE National program.

Listed below are important changes:

• 3 tournaments occurring between November and February

• Not marketing outside of GSE

• No separate uniforms to keep cost lower (We will manage duplicate number issues)

• 12U, 14U, and a 16/18U Showcase option

• 11 players on the roster

• Existing GSE teams have the option to participate

  • We can utilize a current team in an age group to make up a large part of the roster and will fill in the remaining spots

• No weekly practices – we will find time before tourneys to prepare at ESA

• Options to play in individual tournaments when available

16U/18U Showcase Team:

• USA Preps West Coast World Series: Las Vegas, NV  11/08 – 11/11

• Rock Hill Team Camp II: Rock Hill, SC 11/23 & 11/24

• PGF Newberry: Newberry, FL 02/15 & 02/16
   

14U:

• TCS Myrtle Beach Fall Showcase: Myrtle Beach, SC 11/08 – 11/10

• Afrims Indoor Tourney: Adirondack NY 12/21 & 12/22

• PGF Newberry: Newberry, FL 02/15 & 02/16
   

12U:

• USSSA Winter White Out 1: Wilkes Barre, PA 01/18

• PGF Newberry: Newberry, FL 02/15 & 02/16

• Afrims Indoor Tourney: Adirondack NY 02/22 & 02/23

Cost/What’s Included: $695

• Tournament fees, gate fees, and pay at the plate

• Insurance and rostering under different organizations

• No additional cost for uniforms, we will use GSE jerseys

  • If we have duplicate numbers, GSE will cover the cost to purchase a new set

• Occasional GSE National practices at ESA to prepare for tournaments

• Payments will be structured as follow:

  • $295 Deposit Due at time of registration (September)

  • $200 Payment on 10/15

  • $200 Payment on 11/15 
     

  • If looking to play in only one or two tournaments the cost will be $250 per tournament. 
     

Tryouts/Selection Process:

• We will not be holding traditional tryouts this year

• Every member of GSE will receive an invitation to request participation in the program.

• Once we have the full number of players interested, our committee will put together rosters for each age group.

• If there are players new to GSE or anyone we need to see for a final decision, we will hold a small private workout to finalize the rosters.

• Sign ups are required to be in by 9/15.

• We will have more information available and will be able to answers questions on 9/14 and 9/15 at the GSE Round Robin Day.
